It’s extremely exaggerated but belly-bustlingly funny because many of us recognise similar scenarios from our own experience with ‘patty shops’. While there are many community businesses that offer excellent levels of customer service, a small but significant number have spawned a reputation that makes them the butt of such comedy and conversation in and outside the home.
